It consists of a
\nload and unload stations, soldering zone, vacuum module,
\ncooling and controller.
\nThrough the use of the load\/unload station the assemblies
\nare moved to the process on a universal work piece carrier
\nand after the automatic cycle is completed the assemblies
\nare ready to be removed.
\nThe key unit of the compact multi chambers machine is the
\nprocess chamber made of stainless steel. The large area
\nheaters are mounted on the outside and insulated against
\nexternal heat radiation. High quality sensors for the heaters,
\nfluid, vapor and cooling zone temperature guarantee
\nutmost process reliability.
\nThe vacuum module consists of the evacuation unit mounted
\nin the process chamber where it is secured with quicklocks
\nfor fast and easy removal for maintenance. Pump,
\nvalves and sensors are integrated in the base.
\nThe efficient cooling zone of the machine is equipped with
\na special blower system, which circulates the medium and
\nflux residues, emanating from the assembly, through a
\ncooling cassette and on to an internal filtration cycle.
\nAn automatic filtration system for microfiltration of the heat
\ntransfer medium is available.
\nAn integrated exhaust system is available to remove vapors
\nand odours from areas outside the process chamber which
\noccur during the de-gassing of the printed circuit board.
\nThe controller is preprogrammed to accept the connection
\nof an external exhaust.
\nThe machine controller sits in an integrated control box and
\ncontains the switch, control, regulators and safety\/fuse elements
\nfor all functional units.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
ASSCON\u2019s vacuum soldering process combines the advantages of the vapor-phase with the vacuum process.
